True Blue Friend concept & site:

Holland VanDieren

SEAACA needs loving, lifelong homes for some special cats and dogs: the 10% least likely to be adopted. They are good-natured and healthy -- yet overlooked -- homeless pets we designate as True Blue Friends. Each True Blue Friend is given a cage sign and blue collar to let everybody know "Maybe I'm not so special on the outside, but I'm totally adorable on the inside."

To promote these deserving pets we're covering SEAACA's community with True Blue Friend signs, publicity, ads and T-shirts. "Why" you may ask, "would an animal care shelter concentrate efforts on such hard-to-place pets?" Well, if you ever sympathized with (or were) the kid who was picked last for the team, sat out the prom, or got only one valentine (and that was from the teacher,) you understand how it feels!

Like the former True Blue Friends pictured here, each one has a story. The True Blue Friend meant for you might resemble any one of them or be utterly unique (like that one-of-a-kind mutt or crazy-cat mix!) What's important is that beyond a shy or silly, dainty or humongous, senior or junior, homely or just plain wrapper, there's the heart of a True Blue Friend.
